YES!! Our son finally wrote to us..

Dear Sponsor,

First of all I would like to greet you. I am your sponsored child. My name is EJERA, Shimelis. I live with my parents some 114km to North West of Addis Ababa in particular place called YAYA GULALE. The weather condition of YAYA GULALE is cloudy in Summer season & hot in winter season.

Muger river & Selale Mountain are known figures in our area. We live in our own home in which its root is covered by grass & its wall is made from wood & mud.

We use water from a source & kerosin for light. As my parents are farmers our source of livelihood is agriculture.

I have, four sisters & one brothers who live together with me. Their names & age are listed below.
